Job Overview

Vira International Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundryman to join our Operations team in Downtown Dubai, UAE. Job Responsibilities

As a Laundryman, your primary duties will include:

• Operating and maintaining laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, uniforms, and other fabrics.
• Ensuring proper handling of delicate and specialty fabrics.
• Inspecting laundry items for stains, damages, and wear.
• Applying appropriate detergents, bleaches, and fabric softeners.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Following safety and sanitation protocols to ensure hygiene standards.
• Coordinating with other departments to fulfill laundry requests promptly.
• Keeping records of laundry operations and reporting maintenance issues.
• Adhering to company policies and environmental regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Education: Doctorate (preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates).
• Experience: 0-1 year in laundry operations or a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify stains, damages, and fabric types.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long hours and lifting heavy loads.
• Time Management: Efficient in handling multiple tasks within deadlines.

Work Environment & Conditions
