Job Overview

ABU DHABI OIL & GAS COMPANY is seeking a highly motivated Lead QA/QC E&I Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This full-time position is based in Abu Dhabi and is ideal for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) within the electrical and instrumentation (E&I) sector of the oil and gas industry.

As a Lead QA/QC E&I Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our electrical and instrumentation projects. This position offers a competitive salary range of 1-2 LPA and excellent growth opportunities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for electrical and instrumentation projects.
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Review and approve electrical and instrumentation design documents, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC reports and documentation.
• Train and mentor junior QA/QC engineers and technicians.
• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation materials and equipment meet specified quality requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to address quality concerns.
• Monitor and evaluate project execution to identify areas for quality improvement.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduation or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in QA/QC within the electrical and instrumentation (E&I) sector, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with international QA/QC standards such as ISO 9001, ASME, and IEC.

Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and components.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
