Hamdan Global is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard (Casual / Third Party) to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of guests at our premier hotel facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring swimming areas, preventing accidents, and responding to emergencies with swift, effective action. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming pools and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
- Inspect pool equipment, cleanliness, and chemical levels daily.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and safety checks.
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Strong safety awareness and vigilance.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
- Excellent swimming skills and physical stamina.
- Basic knowledge of first aid, CPR, and lifeguarding techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Doctorate or equivalent certification in Lifeguarding, Safety Management, or related field.
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized authority (e.g., Red Cross, StarGuard).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Experience:
- 0-1 year of experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Familiarity with pool maintenance and water safety standards.
Work Environment
This position is based in a high-end hotel environment in Diriyah, Riyadh. The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures. The lifeguard will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous coverage.
