Key Responsibilities
As a Female Lifeguard, your primary duty will be to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals using aquatic facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor swimmers and aquatic activities to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations in and around the water.
- Perform rescue operations and provide first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Inspect the facility for potential hazards and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
- Assist in organizing and conducting swimming lessons or water safety programs.
- Complete daily logs and incident reports as required.
- Stay updated with the latest lifeguarding techniques, first aid, and CPR certifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this Lifeguard – Female position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a lifeguard or in a related water safety role.
- Strong rescue skills and ability to act swiftly in emergencies.
- Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR (or equivalent).
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform rescues and prolonged surveillance.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
Education & Certifications
- Higher Secondary education or equivalent.
- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized institution (e.g., Red Cross, RLSS).
- Additional certifications in water safety instruction are a plus.
