About the Role
As a Lifeguard Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction at our hotel's swimming facilities. This role involves supervising lifeguard teams, enforcing safety protocols, and responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train a team of lifeguards to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Conduct regular safety drills and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate with management.
- Ensure all rescue equipment is in optimal condition.
- Enforce hotel policies and interact professionally with guests.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Doctorate in a related field (e.g., Sports Science, Safety Management, or equivalent).
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
Skills & Experience
- 0-1 year of supervisory experience in lifeguarding or aquatics.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in emergency situations.
