Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist cum Mechanic (Lathe Operator) to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating lathe machines, performing mechanical repairs, and ensuring precision in machining operations. This role is critical in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting our Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain lathe machines for precision machining tasks.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and calibrate lathe machines for optimal performance.
• Perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of machining operations and maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years as a Machinist, Mechanic, or Lathe Operator in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in operating CNC and conventional lathe machines.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of machine learning applications in machining is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam or Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will work in an industrial setting, adhering to strict safety and operational guidelines. The role may require occasional overtime based on project demands.
