Job Opening: Maintenance Helper (Food & Beverage Industry)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Helper to join our team in the Food & Beverage industry. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with basic technical knowledge and a willingness to learn. As a Maintenance Helper, you will assist in maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring smooth plant operations, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in performing routine plant maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment under supervision.
• Support in preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Clean and organize work areas, tools, and spare parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards immediately.
• Assist in inventory management of maintenance supplies.
• Perform minor repairs on mechanical or electrical systems as directed.
• Document maintenance activities in logs or reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: ITI certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
• Experience: 0-1 year in a similar role (freshers are welcome).
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for manual labor and lifting equipment.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in an industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

• Prior internship or apprenticeship in maintenance.
• Familiarity with Food & Beverage industry equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals or diagrams.
