Maintenance Manager

Job Overview

Smart Training & Sourcing Co. (SMARTCO) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all facility maintenance operations in our Diriyah, Riyadh location. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in facilities management, a strong technical background, and leadership skills to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance processes.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a competitive salary range of 15-20 LPA, based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimize facility operations
• Leading and managing a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
• Creating and managing budgets for maintenance operations and capital projects
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all facility systems
• Managing vendor relationships and service contracts
• Implementing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and inventory
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively
• Collaborating with other departments to support operational needs

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field

Experience:

• 5-10 years of progressive experience in maintenance management, preferably in facilities management
• Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and operations
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of facility maintenance best practices and industry standards
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Environment

This position requires:

• On-site presence at our facilities in Diriyah, Riyadh
• Occasional after-hours availability for emergencies
• Regular interaction with staff at all levels of the organization
• Visits to various locations within the facility
• Working in both office and operational environments
