Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of facilities while adhering to safety and compliance standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for facilities and equipment.
• Assign tasks to maintenance staff and ensure timely completion.
• Inspect work performed by team members to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Source and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related concerns.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Doctorate degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a similar role, preferably in facility management or industrial settings.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in The Pearl, Doha. The role may require occasional overtime, weekend work, or emergency call-outs to address urgent maintenance issues.
