Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Manlift Operator to join our Maintenance Department in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience operating manlifts in industrial settings, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Construction sectors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manlift equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Transport personnel and materials to elevated work areas as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs of manlift machinery.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and inspections.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (Engineering, Mechanical, or similar).
• 1-3 years of experience as a Manlift Operator, preferably in Oil & Gas, Construction, or related industries.
• Valid certification for operating manlifts (if required by UAE regulations).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating various types of manlifts (articulating, telescopic, etc.).
• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with colleagues.
• Adaptability to changing work conditions and schedules.

Work Conditions

• Job Type: Full-time, on-site role (No remote work).
• Location: Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Shift: May involve day/night shifts depending on project requirements.
• Environment: Outdoor/industrial settings with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
