Job Description

RK Travel Services is seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our engineering team in Dammam/Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical to maintaining and repairing marine vessels and equipment within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical systems, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair marine engines, propulsion systems, and other mechanical components.
• Perform routine maintenance on marine vessels to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for repairs and installations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize mechanical systems.
• Conduct tests and inspections post-repair to ensure functionality and safety.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards in all operations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in marine mechanics, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing marine engines, hydraulics, and propulsion systems.
• Strong understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in Dammam/Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with diesel engines and HVAC systems on marine vessels.
• Certification in marine mechanics or related technical training.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations.
