Job Responsibilities & Daily Duties

As a Mason at Absolute Technical Systems LLP, you will be an integral part of our construction crew, responsible for executing precise and durable structural work. Your primary focus will be on creating and finishing surfaces that meet our strict quality standards and project specifications.

Key Masonry Responsibilities:

• Laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of building materials to construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures according to detailed blueprints and layouts.
• Applying plaster to walls and surfaces to create a smooth or textured finish, ensuring even coverage and adherence.
• Performing skilled block work for foundations, walls, and structural supports, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
• Reading and interpreting architectural plans, drawings, and sketches to determine the required materials and dimensions.
• Measuring and cutting bricks or blocks to fit around windows, doors, and other openings using appropriate power and hand tools.
• Mixing mortar, grout, and other compounds to the correct consistency for various masonry tasks.
• Using levels, plumb bobs, and laser alignment tools to ensure structures are perfectly vertical, horizontal, and level.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needs for replacement.
• Adhering to all company safety protocols and UAE construction site regulations to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Collaborating with other construction professionals, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers, to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the masonry trade. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of construction principles and a strong work ethic.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• A minimum educational qualification of Higher Secondary (12th pass).
• 0-1 year of experience in a masonry or general construction labor role. Freshers with a keen interest are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrable knowledge or training in brickwork, plastering, and block work.
• Basic ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction plans.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials (bricks, bags of mortar, etc.) and working on your feet for extended periods.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
• Knowledge of and willingness to strictly follow all on-site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Any relevant short-term certification or ITI diploma in masonry or construction is a plus.
• Previous experience on construction sites in the UAE or GCC region.
• Familiarity with the tools of the trade, including trowels, levels, hammers, chisels, and power mixers.
