Mechanic Job Opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our Transportation Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position in the construction industry, ideal for candidates with 0–1 year of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting heavy construction vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in construction vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks, to ensure vehicles remain in good working condition.
• Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines when handling tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems in heavy machinery.
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to perform accurate assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Higher Secondary education or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of experience as a mechanic, preferably in the construction industry.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical repairs.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills (preferably English and/or Arabic).

Work Location & Conditions
