Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Consultant Engineer to join our Engineering Department. This role involves providing expert mechanical engineering consultancy for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing mechanical systems for efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, strong project management skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert mechanical engineering consultancy for Oil & Gas projects, including design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Review and optimize mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and client presentations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in project management, including budgeting and timelines.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).
• Experience with pressure vessels, piping systems, and rotating equipment.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
