Job Overview
Aman International HR Consultant is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in supporting our operations in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry, ensuring mechanical systems are designed, maintained, and optimized for maximum efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems and components for Oil & Gas projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new and existing mechanical installations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI).
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project specifications.
- Ensure all mechanical systems adhere to safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design and modeling tasks.
- Support procurement by evaluating mechanical components and vendors.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
- Proficiency in mechanical design, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of material properties and selection for industrial applications.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
