Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for oil and gas extraction, processing, and transportation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations of mechanical components.
  • Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance with industry standards.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, manuals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in procurement and vendor management for mechanical components.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pipeline design, pressure vessels, or rotating equipment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • Prior experience working in the Middle East or similar oil-rich regions.
