Mechanical Fitters - Oil & Gas Industry

Job Overview

HR GLOBAL REACH is seeking highly skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our dynamic Operations team in the Oil & Gas sector. This full-time position is based in Kaifan, Kuwait City, and requires candidates with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment in compliance with industry standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Inspect and test mechanical assemblies for defects and ensure optimal performance.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to align, fit, and adjust mechanical parts.
• Document work performed, including repairs, maintenance logs, and compliance checks.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Certification in mechanical fitting or a related discipline is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in assembling and disassembling mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Familiarity with welding, machining, and fabrication techniques.
• Understanding of Oil & Gas industry standards (API, ASME, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Work Environment & Benefits

This role is based in Kaifan, Kuwait City, and requires on-site presence in industrial settings. Remote work is not available for this position.
