About the Role
Bright International is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee mechanical operations in our Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction projects based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of the Operations team, you will supervise mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on-site.
- Lead a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for accurate execution.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure seamless workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure workplace safety.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress and materials used.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance team productivity.
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical supervision or safety (preferred).
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foreman or similar role in Oil & Gas or Construction.
- Proven experience in supervising mechanical maintenance and installation projects.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
