Key Responsibilities & Duties

The Mechanical Foreman (Static) will be entrusted with a wide array of critical tasks essential to the smooth and efficient operation of our mechanical department. Your primary duties will include:

• Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team of mechanical technicians and fitters on daily static equipment activities.
• Planning, coordinating, and executing all preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for static mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, valves, and storage tanks.
• Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and isometric drawings to guide the team accurately.
• Ensuring all mechanical maintenance and construction activities are performed in strict compliance with company safety policies, international standards (like ASME, API), and best industry practices.
• Managing work orders, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring all tools and equipment are available and in good working condition.
• Conducting thorough inspections of static equipment to identify defects, wear and tear, and potential failures, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborating closely with the planning, operations, and reliability departments to minimize downtime and enhance equipment performance.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, work hours, and parts consumption using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Overseeing the installation, alignment, and testing of new static equipment during project phases.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and providing technical guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this senior-level Mechanical Foreman role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education & Certification

• A minimum of a Diploma or Graduation (Bachelor's degree) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Relevant certifications in welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), or pressure vessel inspection (e.g., API 510) will be a significant advantage.
• Certification in Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable for this role in the Oil & Gas Construction industry.

Experience & Skills
