Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Foremen to oversee mechanical operations for our Oil & Gas and Engineering & Construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical systems, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians and engineers.
• Ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Monitor inventory and ensure the availability of necessary tools and parts.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices and safety protocols.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Foremen in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with OSHA and other industry safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Abu Dhabi.
• Certification in safety management or project management (e.g., NEBOSH, PMP).
• Knowledge of PLC and automated mechanical systems.
