Mechanical Supervisor – Juice

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor – Juice to oversee the maintenance and operation of juice processing machinery in our production facility. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry, specifically with juice processing equipment. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of mechanical systems, troubleshooting issues, and supervising maintenance teams to maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of juice processing machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement timely repairs.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment handling and maintenance.
• Maintain records of machinery performance, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality spare parts.
• Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in juice processing technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining juice processing machinery (extractors, pasteurizers, fillers).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of food-grade lubricants and sanitation standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics.

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Certification in mechanical maintenance or industrial automation (preferred).

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait City, Al Asimah. The candidate will work in a production facility with exposure to noise, machinery, and occasional extended hours. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure safety.
