Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of mechanical systems within our Food & Beverage production facility. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance technicians and mechanical engineers.
• Ensuring all mechanical equipment adheres to industry standards and safety regulations.
• Implementing machine learning algorithms to optimize mechanical performance and predictive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical failures in production machinery.
• Developing maintenance schedules and ensuring timely execution of repairs and inspections.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Training junior staff on best practices in mechanical maintenance and safety protocols.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
• Experience with machine learning applications in predictive maintenance and automation.
• Strong knowledge of CAD software for mechanical design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Soft Skills

Education & Experience

• Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

This role is based in our production facility located in Jibla, Kuwait City. The work environment includes:
