Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Mechanical Supervisor will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks to ensure the seamless operation of mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical maintenance technicians and contractors on a daily basis.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for a wide array of mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, engines, valves, and piping systems.
• Ensure all maintenance work is performed in strict compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and international industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI).
• Diagnose complex mechanical faults, troubleshoot equipment failures, and implement effective, long-term solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare part inventories, initiate purchase requisitions for critical mechanical components, and control maintenance costs within the allocated budget.
• Review and approve maintenance reports, work orders, and equipment history records to track performance and identify recurring issues.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to junior mechanics and technicians to enhance team competency.
• Liaise closely with operations, planning, and reliability engineering departments to coordinate shutdown activities and ensure alignment on project priorities.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by recommending upgrades, process enhancements, and new technologies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education & Certification
