We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Gas Technician to join our healthcare team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical gas systems in healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
This is a full-time position requiring 3-5 years of experience in medical gas system maintenance, with a competitive salary range of 5-8 LPA. The role is based in Al ‘Amarat, Muscat, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain medical gas systems (oxygen, nitrogen, medical air, etc.) in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on medical gas equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in medical gas delivery systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital protocols.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure uninterrupted gas supply for patient care.
- Calibrate and test pressure regulators, alarms, and other system components.
- Assist in emergency situations involving medical gas systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- ITI certification or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in medical gas system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proven track record in healthcare facility maintenance.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of medical gas pipeline systems and components.
- Familiarity with HTM 02-01 and other relevant medical gas standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
