Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Medical Gas Technician with 3-5 years of experience to join our client’s operations team in Riyadh. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and calibration of medical gas systems in healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain medical gas pipelines and systems in compliance with industry standards.
- Perform gas line calibration and ensure accurate pressure and flow measurements.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in medical gas delivery systems.
- Conduct routine safety checks and preventive maintenance on medical gas equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 99, HTM 02-01).
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to address system-related concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in medical gas system installation, maintenance, or calibration.
- Proven expertise in gas line calibration and pressure testing.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility operations is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of medical gas regulations (e.g., ISO 7396, HTM 02-01).
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Batha, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position may require occasional overtime or emergency call-outs to ensure uninterrupted medical gas supply in healthcare facilities.
