MEP BIM Engineer – Full-Time Position

About the Role

TransAsia Integrate Services is seeking a highly skilled MEP BIM Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, along with strong coordination skills to ensure seamless project execution.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in MEP BIM coordination, clash detection, and 3D modeling within the construction industry. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize design efficiency and minimize errors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed MEP BIM models using software like Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD MEP.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building components.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure design accuracy.
• Generate shop drawings, construction documents, and as-built models.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project workflows.
• Support project teams in the adoption of BIM best practices.
• Conduct model quality checks and audits to maintain accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior BIM staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection).
• Experience in clash detection and coordination.
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in MEP BIM coordination within the construction sector.
• Previous experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
