We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Chargehand/Group Leader to oversee HVAC Ductwork operations in the prestigious Masjid al-Haram area of Makkah.

Job Overview

As an MEP Chargehand/Group Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of ductwork systems within HVAC projects. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of technicians while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Department: HVAC (Ductwork)

Experience Level: 0-1 Year (Entry-Level Leadership Role)

Education: Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians in ductwork installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Inspect ductwork systems for defects and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in HVAC ductwork.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and manpower allocation.
• Monitor tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proven leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, particularly ductwork installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC systems.
• Prior experience in construction or MEP projects (0-1 year).
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction safety standards.
