Job Description: MEP Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MEP Technician to join our Maintenance Department at the NEOM Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 1-3 years of experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of MEP systems in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in MEP equipment and systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new MEP systems as per project requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and industry regulations while handling MEP equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure efficient system performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international MEP standards and codes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of MEP system schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience with hand and power tools used in MEP maintenance.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is a plus.
• Understanding of safety standards and compliance in construction environments.

Education and Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in MEP maintenance within the construction industry.
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems are advantageous.
