Key Responsibilities: Mobile Crane Operator Duties
As a Mobile Crane Operator at Talentrio, you will be entrusted with critical operational tasks that require precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operate various types of mobile cranes (all-terrain, rough-terrain, truck-mounted) to lift, move, position, and relocate materials and equipment
- Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of the crane and associated equipment to ensure mechanical soundness and safety compliance
- Calculate load weights and verify against crane capacity to ensure safe lifting operations within designated parameters
- Coordinate with rigging crews and signal persons using hand signals, radio communication, and established protocols
- Execute lifts according to lift plans while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings, including overhead power lines, ground conditions, and other potential hazards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating moving parts, replacing worn components, and reporting mechanical issues to maintenance teams
- Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, including lift details, maintenance activities, and safety inspections
- Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry best practices for crane operations
- Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to the development of Job Safety Analyses for lifting operations
- Assist in rigging activities as needed, including sling selection, attachment point identification, and load securement

Qualifications and Requirements
