Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our dynamic engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and expertise in handling heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow project blueprints, work orders, and supervisor instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Coordinate with ground crews and signalers to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and industry regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, including lift records and maintenance reports.
• Assist in rigging and securing loads for transport.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Operations, or a related field.
• Valid UAE crane operator certification/license (mandatory).
• OSHA or equivalent safety training certification (preferred).

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Mobile Crane Operator in construction, engineering, or industrial environments.
• Proficiency in operating various types of mobile cranes (e.g., hydraulic, telescopic, lattice boom).
• Familiarity with load charts, rigging techniques, and weight distribution principles.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of crane operations and maintenance.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and lift plans.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Physical stamina to work in demanding outdoor conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role involves working in outdoor construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions. Candidates must be prepared for:

• Prolonged sitting and operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
• Working at heights or in confined spaces as required.
