Mobile Crane Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operating heavy lifting cranes within the Oil & Gas industry. This role is critical for ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations on-site, adhering to safety regulations, and contributing to project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials on construction sites.
• Inspect cranes before and after operations to ensure safety and functionality.
• Follow project blueprints and supervisor instructions to position loads accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Coordinate with ground crew and signalers to execute lifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
• Document daily operations, including equipment inspections and incident reports.
• Assist in rigging and securing loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Diploma or Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management).
• Valid certification as a Mobile Crane Operator from a recognized institution.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience operating mobile cranes, preferably in the Oil & Gas or construction sector.
• Proven track record of handling heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in operating various types of cranes (e.g., hydraulic, telescopic, and crawler cranes).
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and load calculations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions

• Full-time position with standard working hours, though overtime may be required based on project demands.
• Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, dust, wind, etc.).
• Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including climbing ladders and sitting for extended periods.
