Multi QC Inspector Job in Oil & Gas Construction

Job Description

Asiapower Overseas Employment Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Multi QC Inspector to join our Quality Control team in the Oil & Gas Construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality control procedures.
• Review and verify inspection reports, test certificates, and other quality documentation.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from standards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Participate in internal and external audits as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Doctorate in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality control inspection within the Oil & Gas Construction industry.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in inspection, welding, NDT, or quality management (e.g., CSWIP, ASNT, ISO 9001).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale Oil & Gas projects in the Middle East.
• Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM).
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Work Environment

The Multi QC Inspector will be based in Muscat, Oman, and may be required to work on-site at construction locations. The role involves occasional travel and exposure to outdoor conditions. Safety gear and protective equipment must be worn as per company policies.
