Location: Kaifan, Kuwait City, Al Asimah (Capital Governorate), Kuwait

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician with 5-10 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our Welding & Fabrication Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Radiographic Testing (RT) Interpretation and a strong background in facility management and maintenance services.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuwait City, offering a competitive salary and growth opportunities in a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections on welding, fabrication, and structural components.
  • Interpret and evaluate results from Radiographic Testing (RT) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, welders, and maintenance teams to address defects or non-conformities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during testing procedures.
  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Radiographic Testing (RT) Interpretation and other NDT methods (UT, PT, MT).
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and fabrication standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with industry codes (ASME, API, AWS) and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Education & Experience:

  • Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, NDT Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience as an NDT Technician in facility management or industrial maintenance.
  • Valid NDT certification (ASNT Level II or III preferred) in Radiographic Testing (RT).
  • Prior experience in oil & gas, construction, or heavy machinery industries is a plus.
