Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Overhead Lineman (Electrical Joiner) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 0-1 year of experience in high-voltage line maintenance and electrical joinery. The role involves working on overhead power lines, ensuring reliable electricity distribution while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead high-voltage power lines and associated equipment.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues in electrical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while working at heights or near live electrical lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in overhead distribution systems.
- Assist in emergency repairs and power restoration during outages.
- Operate specialized tools and equipment required for line maintenance and installation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Graduation or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in high-voltage line maintenance or electrical joinery (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing electrical issues.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for manual labor and climbing utility poles.
