Job Description: Painter & Blaster
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Blaster to join our Oil & Gas operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 1-3 years of experience in industrial painting and surface preparation. The ideal candidate will have an ITI certification and hands-on expertise in applying protective coatings, abrasive blasting, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting using abrasive blasting techniques (e.g., sandblasting, grit blasting).
- Apply protective coatings, primers, and paints to industrial equipment, pipelines, and structural components.
- Operate painting and blasting equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety compliance.
- Follow project specifications, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
- Adhere to company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in industrial painting techniques (spray, brush, roller).
- Experience in abrasive blasting methods (sandblasting, shot blasting).
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
Education & Certifications
- ITI certification in Painting Technology or related field.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NACE) are a plus.
Experience Level
1-3 years of hands-on experience in industrial painting and blasting, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
Work Environment
This role is based in Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires on-site work in industrial settings. Candidates must be prepared to work in varied weather conditions and adhere to strict safety protocols. Protective gear and equipment will be provided.
