Job Description
Vira International Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Operator to join our team in Downtown Dubai, UAE. This role is critical for maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in a relevant field and a passion for pest management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify pest infestations in commercial and residential properties.
- Implement pest control methods using safe and approved techniques.
- Apply chemical and non-chemical treatments to eliminate pests such as rodents, insects, and termites.
- Maintain accurate records of pest control activities and inspections.
- Provide recommendations to clients on preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
- Use specialized equipment, including sprays, traps, and fumigation tools.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule and prioritize pest control services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in various pest control methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safety precautions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to assess and treat pest issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients.
Education & Experience:
- Doctorate in Entomology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 0-1 year of experience in pest control operations (freshers are encouraged to apply).
- Certification in pest management or related training is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Downtown Dubai and requires physical activity, including lifting equipment and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces and exposed to pest control chemicals (with proper safety gear provided).
