Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fabricator to join our Maintenance department in Abu Dhabi. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing pipes for industrial applications in the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in pipe fabrication and a strong understanding of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate pipes.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications.
• Assemble and install fabricated pipes using welding, soldering, or mechanical fittings.
• Inspect fabricated pipes for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., pipe threading machines, cutters, welding torches).
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing piping systems as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Higher Secondary (12th Grade) or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 years in pipe fabrication, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry.
• Proficiency in pipe cutting, threading, bending, and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with industry tools and machinery (e.g., pipe benders, welding equipment).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in industrial environments.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in demanding conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in pipe fabrication or welding from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).

Work Environment
