Job Overview

Soundlines Group is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter (Fire Fighting & Chilled Water) to join our dynamic team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with foundational experience in plumbing and HVAC systems, particularly in fire suppression and chilled water piping installations. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to ensure high-quality pipefitting services for construction projects in the Al Haram area.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pipe Fitter specializing in Fire Fighting & Chilled Water systems, you will:

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for firefighting and chilled water applications in HVAC projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensure all piping systems comply with safety standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
• Inspect and test installed systems for leaks, pressure, and other functional requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals to optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty piping systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Doctorate or equivalent certification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience: 0-1 year of hands-on experience in pipefitting, preferably in firefighting or chilled water systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in pipe installation, threading, and assembly; familiarity with tools like pipe cutters, benders, and welding equipment.
• Certifications: Relevant trade certifications or vocational training in plumbing/HVAC systems is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.

Work Environment

This role is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, specifically near the Masjid al-Haram (Al Haram area). The job involves:
