Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
As a Pipe Fitter with our company, you will be entrusted with a range of critical tasks essential to the success of our construction projects. Your primary focus will be on the installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of mechanical piping systems.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics to determine the specific work requirements and layout.
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes, tubes, and fittings accurately using a variety of specialized tools and equipment, including pipe threaders, cutters, and benders.
- Install and maintain a wide range of piping systems, including high-pressure and low-pressure systems, for water, steam, oil, gas, and other fluids.
- Perform skilled plumbing work, including fitting valves, couplings, assemblies, and other components to precise specifications.
- Inspect and test installed systems for leaks, pressure, and overall functionality, ensuring they meet all project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, welders, and other construction professionals on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company guidelines, and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot existing piping systems to identify and rectify faults or inefficiencies.
