Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a Pipe Fitter with ASMACS, your primary role will involve the precise installation and maintenance of complex piping systems. Your day-to-day tasks will be critical to the success of our construction and maintenance operations.

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical specifications to plan piping system layouts.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble mechanical piping systems using various tools and equipment.
• Install and repair a wide range of pipes, including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC, for water, steam, oil, and gas systems.
• Weld, braze, solder, and groove pipes and fittings to ensure a secure and leak-proof assembly.
• Perform rigorous pressure tests on installed systems to verify their integrity and identify any potential leaks or defects.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, welders, and other construction professionals to ensure project alignment and efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, industry standards, and local regulations to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and cared for.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for this Pipe Fitter position, candidates must meet the following criteria and possess the necessary technical skills.

Education & Certification

• ITI Certification in Pipe Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a directly related field is mandatory.
• Additional certification in welding (e.g., ASME) is a significant advantage.
• Valid UAE driver's license or the ability to obtain one is preferred.

Experience & Skills

• A minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in the construction or oil & gas industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Demonstrable experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of different pipe materials, joining methods (threading, welding, grooving), and pressure testing procedures.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
