Job Overview

Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Job Type: Full Time

Experience Level: 1-3 Years

Salary Range: 2-4 LPA

Education Level: Higher Secondary

As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes in industrial and construction settings. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper pipe alignment, pressure testing, and system functionality in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine pipe system layouts.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using appropriate tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment using welding, soldering, and bolting techniques.
• Perform pipe alignment and installation in compliance with safety and engineering standards.
• Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and structural integrity.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to troubleshoot and resolve piping issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in pipe alignment and pipe installation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with pipefitting tools (e.g., pipe cutters, threaders, welding machines).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of material properties and pipe fitting standards.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Education & Experience:

• Higher Secondary education or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction industry.
• Certification in pipefitting or welding (preferred, but not mandatory).

Working Conditions

• Job Type: Full Time (No remote work available).
• Location: Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Work Environment: Industrial/construction sites with exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
