Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Piping Field Engineer to join our Engineering Department in Abu Dhabi. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or diploma holders with a passion for technical problem-solving and hands-on engineering. As a Piping Field Engineer, you will assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of piping systems critical to our oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the planning, design, and execution of piping systems for oil and gas facilities.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of piping equipment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including contractors and suppliers, to ensure project timelines are met.
• Identify and troubleshoot piping system issues, proposing effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory guidelines in all engineering activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, reports, and project progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of piping design principles and material specifications.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

• Internship or project experience in piping systems, oil & gas, or related fields.
• Exposure to pipeline stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II).
• Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
