Key Responsibilities

As a Piping Foreman, your primary duties will include:

• Supervision of Piping Installations: Oversee the installation, alignment, and testing of piping systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of pipefitters, welders, and laborers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to verify piping systems meet design, material, and regulatory requirements.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, company, and site-specific safety guidelines to minimize workplace hazards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of work progress, material usage, and labor hours.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve piping system issues during installation or testing phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in reading and interpreting piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction blueprints.
• Hands-on Experience: 1-3 years of experience in piping installation, fabrication, or maintenance within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to supervise and motivate a construction team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot piping system issues.
• Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Communication: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, and API piping standards.
• Experience with welding, hydrotesting, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Prior work experience in the Middle East, particularly Oman.

This role is based on-site in Muscat, Oman, and involves working in challenging outdoor conditions. Candidates must be prepared for:
