About the Piping Foreman Role

Key Responsibilities
As a Piping Foreman at ITL, you will be entrusted with a wide range of critical tasks essential to the success of our Oil & Gas operations. Your primary duties will include:
- Supervising and leading a team of pipefitters, welders, and other piping personnel on daily projects.
- Planning, coordinating, and executing the installation, alignment, and fabrication of piping systems according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Ensuring all welding and piping activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Reading and interpreting complex isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and other technical documentation.
- Managing work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring the progress of the piping crew to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Conducting regular inspections of piping systems, tools, and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other department foremen to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Implementing strict safety protocols and conducting toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety awareness and prevent accidents on site.
- Training and mentoring junior team members, fostering skill development and professional growth within the team.
- Maintaining accurate records of work progress, material usage, manpower hours, and any incidents for reporting purposes.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this Piping Foreman position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education
- A Graduation/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 yearsOil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing piping installation and maintenance projects from conception to completion.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) and pipe fabrication standards.
- Thorough understanding of piping materials, components, valves, and supports used in Oil & Gas applications.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from complex technical drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, API).
