Piping Superintendent/Supervisor Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent/Supervisor to oversee piping operations for a high-profile ARAMCO project in Al-Naseem, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a skilled professional with 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specializing in piping supervision, installation, and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, manage teams, and coordinate with engineering departments to achieve project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate piping installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with ARAMCO standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Lead a team of piping technicians, welders, and contractors to meet project milestones.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics for accuracy.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor material procurement, inventory, and usage to prevent delays.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols.
- Prepare daily progress reports, including manpower allocation and work schedules.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience as a Piping Superintendent/Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Prior experience working on ARAMCO projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale piping installations and maintenance.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, codes (ASME, ANSI), and welding standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings (P&IDs, isometrics).
- Familiarity with piping stress analysis and hydraulic calculations.
- Experience with piping software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D) is a plus.
