Key Responsibilities
As a Planner (Mechanical/Electrical), your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for mechanical and electrical activities.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and operations teams to ensure alignment on project timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and review work orders, ensuring all mechanical and electrical planning requirements are met.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for mechanical and electrical projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all planning activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education
- Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in planning within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of managing mechanical and electrical planning tasks.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Soft Skills
