Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning Engineer to oversee project schedules, resource allocation, and progress tracking for our Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in planning within the Engineering & Construction sector, with a strong grasp of project management tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and construction teams to align project schedules.
• Conduct resource planning and workload analysis for optimal efficiency.
• Support bid preparation by developing baseline schedules and cost estimates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and construction methodologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
• 3-5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the Oil & Gas or Engineering & Construction sector.
• Familiarity with UAE project regulations is a plus.
