Job Description: Planning Engineers (Construction Industry)

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Planning Engineers to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a Full-Time position within the Construction industry, requiring 5-10 years of hands-on experience in project planning and execution. The role involves working on diverse projects across India, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Planning Engineer, your core duties will include:

• Developing comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Monitoring and controlling project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including contractors, architects, and stakeholders.
• Identifying potential delays and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Preparing detailed reports on project milestones, risks, and KPIs.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conducting site visits to assess progress and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborating with the procurement team to align material deliveries with project timelines.
• Supporting bid proposals by providing accurate cost and time estimates.
• Implementing best practices in construction project management.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical skills for resource allocation and timeline optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency.

Education & Experience:

• Graduation/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry.
• Prior work in large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Whitefield, Bangalore, with frequent travel to project sites across India. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing project demands.
