Planning Engineer – Oil & Gas Industry (Full-Time)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our Engineering department in the Oil & Gas industry. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 1-3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Planning Engineer, you will play a critical role in project execution by:
- Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential delays or risks.
- Preparing progress reports, Gantt charts, and resource allocation plans.
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
- Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to streamline project workflows.
- Conducting project cost analysis and budget tracking.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas industry standards and regulations.
Education & Experience
- Graduation/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
- 1-3 years of experience in project planning, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is a plus.
Soft Skills
