Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our Engineering department. This is a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a competitive salary range of 10-15 LPA. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in planning within the Oil & Gas sector and hold a Doctorate in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare resource allocation plans to optimize workforce and material utilization.
- Conduct risk assessments and integrate contingency plans into project schedules.
- Liaise with stakeholders to provide regular updates and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Analyze historical data to improve future planning accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in planning within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and solve complex scheduling challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
